However, the updated version has only recently been introduced in China, where its exterior remains unchanged. The adjustments are primarily cosmetic, focusing on décor, equipment, and an improved suite of electronic aids that enhance functionality.
In China, the Sportage continues to be available with gasoline turbo engines: a 1.5-liter generating 200 hp and a 2.0-liter with 236 hp, along with a hybrid system (200 hp) based on a conventional two-liter engine.
