Great Wall Motor plans to start production of automatic transmissions at its plant near Tula, Russia, by the end of 2026. These locally made transmissions will be installed on vehicles produced by the company in Russia, including Haval models. In 2027, the company also intends to localize the production of engine cylinder blocks and heads.
